DESCRIPTION:This Tuesday\, we have the special treat and honor of having Misty May-Treanor\, a three-time Olympic Gold Medalist\, Hall of Famer\, and one of the top Beach Volleyball Players of All Time\, join us as our guest speaker.  \nHer partnership with Kerri Walsh Jennings is legendary. They dominated beach volleyball for over a decade and formed the most successful team in beach volleyball history. \nWhile at Long Beach State\, Misty led the team to an NCAA Championship and became the first women’s NCAA volleyball team to have an undefeated season. She received many honors\, including the nation’s best female volleyball player\, the best overall female collegiate athlete for 1998–99\, and back-to-back National Player of the Year awards in 1997 and 1998. \nMisty has become a role model for female athletes worldwide\, inspiring generations to pursue their sporting dreams.  The Century Club is thrilled and proud to have a hand in helping her early on to get her beach volleyball career going. \nIn addition\, Hall of Fame Volleyball Coach Brian Gimmillaro will join us to introduce Misty and share some stories about their time together. \nWe will be meeting at the Boathouse. DESCRIPTION:This Tuesday\, we get to celebrate the history made at the CIF Track & Field Championships at both Southern Section and State Finals as Long Beach dominated.  Both Poly and Wilson were on top of the Podium\, winning the following Titles: \nCIF Southern Section Championship \nLB Poly – Boys (tied) \nLB Poly Girls \nLB Wilson – Boys (tied) \nCIF State Championship \nLB Wilson – Girls \nLB Poly – Boys \nWe will have Coach Crystal Irving of Poly and Coaches Neil Nelson & Shannon Fisher of Wilson to share about their historic season/teams and receive  checks from the Century Club.  In addition\, on June 17th\, the Coaches will be celebrated again at the Century Club Awards Banquet as High School Co-Coach of the Year. \n In addition\, Greg Shea\, Race Director of the annual Naples Swim event will be at the meeting to present a donation to the Century Club.
