The Long Beach Century Club was formed in 1957 by a group of prominent Long Beach sports enthusiasts as a nonprofit and voluntary organization dedicated to the promotion of amateur athletics in the city.

Over the years, The Century Club has supported thousands of athletes in Long Beach. It has sent athletes to all corners of the globe for competitions, many whom have returned with world or Olympic championships.

Meetings are held on Tuesdays, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
