WHAT IS THE CENTURY CLUB?
The Long Beach Century Club was formed in 1957 by 100 Long Beach sports enthusiasts who each contributed $100.
The Century Club is a nonprofit and voluntary organization dedicated to the support of amateur athletics in the city of Long Beach, including the city's middle schools, high schools and colleges.
Over the years, The Century Club has supported thousands of athletes in Long Beach. It has sent athletes to all corners of the globe for competitions, many whom have returned with world or Olympic championships.
Meetings are held on Tuesdays, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
