Our Mission
The Long Beach Century Club consists of over 300 men and women who care deeply about assisting the youth of Long Beach who are involved in sports. The mission since 1957 has been to support these amateur athletes and teams when they require financial assistance to enhance program growth and the opportunity to compete. This support allows individuals and teams to compete all over the globe, often resulting in national and world championships. All local amateur sports and educational institutions benefit from Century Club funds. Continuous support is also provided to athletes participating in the Special Olympics. Approximately $2.5 million has been contributed over the years to support local programs.
